Objavljene Emmy nominacije: Game of Thrones, Better Call Saul i Kimmy Schmidt među nominiranima

67. dodjela nagrada Emmy održava se za dva mjeseca, i po šezdeset sedmi put, dan objave nominacija izazvao je negodovanje mnogih zbog ignoriranja odličnih serija i njezinih zvijezda. No, ove su godine neke nominacije i ugodno iznenadile.

U posljednjih je 12 mjeseci male je ekrane zapljusnuo neviđeni val kvalitetnih serija da je jednostavno nemoguće izabrati 6 najboljih serija/glumaca po kategoriji, a da netko ne ostane nepravedno izostavljen. No, to ne opravdava činjenicu da je ta, vječno apstraktna, “Akademija” podijelila nekolicinu nominacija koje nama ne bi ni pale napamet.

Tako su se Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan) i Downton Abbey, između ostalog, pronašli među nominiranima, dok su daleko superiornije serije poput The Americans i The Leftovers ostale bez značajnih nominacija.

Ove se godine na popisu nominiranih nalazi mnoštvo novaka, a među njima su Taraji P. Henson i Viola Davis iz dvaju najpopularnijih novih broadcast drama protekle sezone (Empire, How to Get Away with Murder), zatim Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt s nominacijama u svim ključnim kategorijama osim u kategoriji glavne glumice za Ellie Kemper, Better Call Saul, Transparent te zvijezde Netflixovog Bloodlinea i FOX-ovog Last Man on Earth. Nakon tri godine negodovanja od strane fanova i kritičara, Tatiana Maslany napokon se uspjela progurati među nominirane za svoje uloge u Orphan Black.

HBO i dalje predvodi listu nominiranih s njih čak 126, dok se Netflix ove godine popeo na 34 nominacije, nadmašivši tako Showtime i AMC.

Uzo Aduba (Orange is The New Black) i Cat Deeley (So You Think You Can Dance) stale su pred novinare i kamere i pročitale ključne nominacije za ovogodišnju dodjelu nagrada, koja će se održati u nedjelju, 20. rujna i emitirati na FOX-u.
