Timeless

Glavna NBC-jeva dramska uzdanica za iduću jesen je Timeless, SF-ična kolaboracija autora Shawna Ryana (The Shield, Terriers) i Erica Kripkea (Supernatural, Revolution). Kaže opis, “akcijska avantura u kojoj misteriozni kriminalac krade stroj za putovanje kroz vrijeme, s namjerom uništenja Amerike — a naša glavna nada su znanstvenik, vojnik i profesor povijesti koji će ga pokušati spriječiti.” Među ostalim, jednu od glavnih uloga ima Goran Višnjić, uz Abigail Spencer, Matta Lantera i Malcolma Barretta.

The Good Place

Mike Schur je (su-)kreirao The Office, Parks and Recreation i Brooklyn Nine-Nine, a sada potpisuje novu komediju sa Kristen Bell i Tedom Dansonom u glavnim ulogama. Bell glumi običnu ženu koja kroz niz nevjerojatnih događaja dolazi u zagrobni život i shvaća da nije bila baš najbolja osoba u prethodnom životu. No, uz pomoć novog mentora “na onoj strani života” počinje otkrivati drugu, bolju osobu u sebi. Pilot režira Drew Goddard.

This Is Us

Dramedijski ansambl koji predvode Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, Gilmore Girls) i Sterling K. Brown (American Crime Story) je “provokativna serija o grupi ljudi čiji se putevi isprepliću na neočekivane načine”, između ostlaog zato što dijele isti dan rođenja. Potpisuje ju Dan Fogelman, scenarist filmova Crazy, Stupid, Love i Pixarovog Cars serijala te serija The Neighbors i Galavant.

The Blacklist: Redemption

The fourth prong of NBC’s Chicago franchise focuses on prosecutors in the State’s Attorney’s office. The cast includes Philip Winchester, Carl Weathers, Nazneen Contractor, Joelle Carter and Ryan-James Hatanaka.

Emerald City

A retelling of the Wizard of Oz story featuring a 20-year-old Dorothy (Adria Ajorna) being swept into Oz, where a lot more than Munchkins and wicked witches await her.

Midnight, Texas

Based on a series of novels by Charlaine Harris (True Blood), the show is set in a small Texas town where everyday life and the supernatural bump up against each other.

Taken

A prequel to the Liam Neeson movie series featuring a younger Bryan Mills (Clive Standen of Vikings) and is career as a deadly CIA operative.

Great News

A TV news producer (Briga Heelan) learns her mom (Andrea Martin), who is re-entering the workforce, got an internship at the station where she works. Tracey Wigfield (30 Rock) executive produces with Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.

Marlon

Marlon Wayans (who also executive produces) plays a divorced father of two kids who’s committed to working with his ex (Essence Atkins) to raise their kids, even as he needs to grow up a little himself.

Powerless

Set in the DC Comics universe, the show revolves around an insurance adjuster (Vanessa Hudgens) who handles claims of regular people impacted by the damage superheroes cause. Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk and Christina Kirk also star.

Trial & Error

A young lawyer (Nicholas D’Agosto, Gotham) defends an eccentric college professor (John Lithgow) in a murder case in this comedic take on the prevalence of true-crime documentaries.
